Relieving the capital city…
The ministry of Public infrastructure may have found the beginning of a solution to traffic jams between Curepipe and Port-Louis. The plan will be set up in two phases: on the one hand, it will focus on the route between Curepipe and Port-Louis and, on the other, it will reduce traffic between Coromandel and the capital. Cars using the third lane from Montagne-Ory in the morning will now use the bridge on the motorway near Desbro. The second phase will start with the opening of the new bus station in the industrial zone of Coromandel. All buses from Beau-Bassin that are not filled to capacity will drop their passengers there. They will then be taken by shuttle to Victoria bus station.
