The least we can say is that the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) has not remained inactive for the celebration of its 40 years? existence. We have witnessed ? and probably viewed ? many programmes and small flashes the national television has been broadcasting over the past weeks. All this culminated into a show and dinner, which was broadcasted live on TV, from the Suffren hotel last Saturday. On this special occasion, the national television chose to relate the important events that have marked its history over the past forty years. This must have been a nostalgic moment both for the MBC staff and for the public, who saw many memories revived with these images. During the evening, the guests could enjoy a fashion show by HEAT agency and an Indian dance show by Art Academy.
