<B> Ecological training ? </B>Three American experts are on a two-week mission to train local officers ? mostly from the ministries of Agro-Industry, Tourism, Local government and Environment ? in the field of park management and conservation. They are also carrying out an assessment of the National Park and islets of Mauritius to have a more coherent and sustained approach between institutions and seek ways of improving conservation and park management methods.

<B>Ministries? requirements. </B>Meetings with Development Partners. The Annual Business Plan Meeting, the Joint Donors Meeting on Wastewater and the Joint Meeting of all Development Partners ? will be held as from next Monday 11th to Thursday 14th February 2008 in Mauritius to discuss with several ministries their requirements for technical and other assistance for next year.
