Mes Priya Ramjeeawon, Rajiv Gujadhur et Kevin Moorghen ont prêté serment hier comme avocats devant le juge Eddy Balancy. Ils ont été présentés par Me David Chan, Assistant Solicitor General.

Ancienne lauréate du Mahatma Gandhi Institute en 1998 côté art, Priya Ramjeeawon fait ses études à l?université de Wales, Cardiff. Trois ans plus tard, elle décroche son Bachelor of Laws. De retour à Maurice en 2002, elle participe et réussit aux examens du Council of Legal Education. La nouvelle avocate a fait son apprentissage chez Mes Urmilla Banymandhub-Boolell, Maxime Sauzier et Cader Rajah, Senior Attorney.

Après son cycle secondaire au collège du St-Esprit, Rajiv Gujadhur complète ses études à l?université de Buckingham en Angleterre, où il décroche son LLB (Hons) en 2001. Un an après, il est reçu au Bar Vocational Course. En 2002, il est ?called to the bar? au Lincoln?s Inn. Rajiv Gujadhur a fait son ?pupillage? chez Mes Lajpati Gujadhur, avoué, et Razack Peeroo, avocat.

Kevin Moorghen, aussi élève du St-Esprit, est admis en 1999 à l?université de Buckingham. Il y obtient son LLB (Hons) avant de passer ses examens au Bar Vocational Course à l?université de Manchester.

?Called to the bar? à Lincoln?s Inn en 2002, il revient à Maurice faire son ?pupillage? chez Sir Hamid Moollan QC, avec pour Master Mes Robin Ramburn et Sacheedanand Veerasamy, Senior Attorney.
