Where You End and I Begin: Shiva and Parvati
Aayushi Modhyni Doorgasing.
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume d’une poète qui a été inspirée par la fête de Maha Shivaratri.
Amid proud halls where cruel words rang,
Sati stood as dharma sang.
Her father’s scorn struck Shiva’s name,
She answered silence forged in flame.
From breath and will she shaped the fire,
A vow more vast than mortal pyre.
She burned not lost to grief or shame,
But rose as love beyond all name.
The world saw form to ash resign.
The flames confessed what gods deny
Love died in form, yet rose to fly.
-Half You, Half Me, Eternal as Shiva and Parvati
