● EDUCATIONAL FAIR ? </B>IDP Education Australia is organising an educational forum next weekend ? Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd. Representatives of 21 Australian institutions will be there to provide advice and information to Mauritian students interested in studying there. The fair targets particularly those who obtained their Higher School Certificate results last week. About 1,500 local students go to Australia every year.
● <B> WORKSHOP ON POVERTY </B>? The ministry of Finance is organizing a workshop on Combating Poverty in Mauritius in the lunch room of the National Assembly tomorrow as from 9.15. This workshop is held in the context of the preparation of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) summit on Poverty to be held in Mauritius next April.
