<B>Exhibitions</B>

In the context of ?The week of art,? the Charles Beaudelaire Cultural Centre, Rose-Hill is hosting the exhibition of works by Jeanne Gerval-Arouff, ?Liberty? until the 29th of May. Exhibition of works of art by children of Reunion Island. Venue: Alliance Francaise, Bell Village until the 31st of May. ?Transit of Venus?: exhibition at the Mauritius Institute, Port-Louis as from today.

<B>African week</B>

In the context of the African culinary week, the public is invited to taste the mouth-watering dishes of South-African chef, Craig Cormack, who is from the Spier Hotel in Cape Town. The menu will include a variety of typically African dishes. Venue: Veranda Hotel, Grand Bay until the 30th of May. On the 25th and 29th of May, gala-buffets will be held with a special African show.

<B>Concert</B>

A concert bringing together local artists and artists from Reunion Island and Seychelles will be held on the 29th of May. Mauritian groups such as Negro Pou La Vi, Hip-Hop dancers and Otentik Street Brothers will be present, as well as Dr Madmun from the Seychelles and Benjam & Le Majeur (represented among others by Rodee Cox & DJ Dan) from Reunion island. Venue: La Citadelle. Tickets on sale at Rs 150 at La Citadelle as from 5pm.
