When he started working for a well-known sms-chat company in 2004, Ben Mootoo Curpen was only a chat moderator. But, since October this year, he has been the managing director of the company and he is only 24 years old. But, despite his youth, he is not scared of the challenge. Although he admits that at the beginning when he acquired the business, things were hard, he now thinks the business has settled down. He declares: ?When you take over a business, you have to make some changes for a better environment. So, at the beginning, I was busy doing this and trying to make my employees gain confidence in me. But, more importantly, I tried to bring more team-spirit to the group.?

New gaming centre

With all his enthusiasm and his potential, many people around him would agree that he can easily make a positive impact on the business. But, Ben remains optimistic simply because he firmly believes in this field. ?I am fond of public relations! This is something that really suits me. As a matter of fact, after my HSC, I did a degree in Public Relations and Psychology.?

One of the major basic changes Ben made when he took over was re-naming the name of the call-centre. He renamed it: Heaven Multimedia Co. Actually by this name he simply wanted to globalize all businesses linked to information technology. Now, the major change he wants to bring in is just to make the business more successful.

Ben?s background is far from extravagant. Coming from a middle-class family, when we take into account all the steps he has climbed to be in his position today is simply incredible. Without much finance he has still managed to get there. According to him, his success was simply due to his desire to succeed. In fact, HMTP is only one of the businesses he has. He has managed to create three other similar businesses.

However, Ben is far from discontinuing his acquisitions. He has other projects in his sights. Ben is launching on 16th December another LAN (Local Area Network) gaming centre. This new gaming centre will be called: Heaven Ian Asylum Co Ltd. For Ben, all this is like a dream come true. ?I have always thought about getting together all the people who consider chatting as a religion. Therefore, with the new gaming centre I am launching, youngsters will be able to play different kinds of games with people from overseas who are considered as professionals!?
