● BUDGET DEBATES ? Now that the minister of Finance, Rama Sithanen, has introduced his budget, debates start in Parliament as from tomorrow. Until the end of the month, the government and the opposition will discuss the budgetary measures until they all agree to adopt the Finance Bill.
● MUSIC DAY ? Mauritius will be celebrating during the whole week on the occasion of Music Day, to be observed worldwide on Thursday. The ministry of Arts and Culture is asking all public and private institutions including schools, cultural centres, hotels, etc. to set up their own musical programme throughout the island so that all citizens can take advantage of this special day.
