■ <B> CELEBRATIONS. </B>A festive atmosphere is gaining the country? All citizens are busy getting ready for Christmas Eve this evening or Christmas lunch tomorrow morning. The last-minute shoppers are rushing into shops ? which open until late during all this week. The whole country will probably tick over until the beginning of next year. The prime minister, Navin Ramgoolam, flew to Great Britain to spend a white Christmas and will be back to the country next Monday, 31st December to read his end-of-year message to the nation. He will then fly to India on 6th January to attend the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
