Following complaints from our citizens, we, members of the ?Forces vives de Flic-en-Flac? view with much concern that the former have to travel from Flic-en-Flac to Bambous to get their old age pension, in spite of the fact that there is a new post office in our village since last year.

After a small investigation, we have come to know that the reason is that with only one officer at the counter, the service mentioned above cannot be made available.

In this context, with a view to give priority to our senior citizens -pending other services, we would like to make the following suggestion : a second permanent officer, be posted for the time being at Flic-en-Flic, a temporary one could be sent for one or two days every month-the days on which the old age pension is effected.

We would like to point out that at the inaugural ceremony of the post office last year, we were promised that the above service together with the following facilities would be available: CWA and CEB bills.
