MCB, my family
I, as an employee at the MCB, am most stunned and outraged to read all these degrading statements concerning ?racism? existing at the MCB. It seems that ?some? people outside the MCB believe that to go up the ladder in my institution you must belong to some specific ethnic group.
Let me assure you that no such practice prevails at the MCB. Whether you are a Bax or a Bhagobaun, whether you are white, brown or black, whatever ethnic group you belong to, the same respect is shown to each and everyone?s dignity.
I am a Mauritian of Hindu ethnicity and I belong to the MCB family. I am therefore the right person to come forward and say that such practice, as mentioned above, is simply non-existent at the MCB.
I have never felt any prejudice or any injustice toward my person because of the ethnic group
I belong to. I thus, find it cheap for anybody to come and judge my feeling of solidarity towards my institution or even say that the MCB belongs to any kind of museum.
MCB has made history since 1838, and will continue to do so.
