When I was a child in the 50?s on the small British colony of Mauritius (...), the steamer from Britain was eagerly awaited for our supplies of every necessary manufactured goods. Poor us, we were only allowed to produce and export raw-sugar. That the US retailers today eagerly await the slow-boat from China to start their Christmas sales is incredible.

Worse still is the USA behaving like a wounded vassal of the middle-East, seeking war in an attempt to safeguard oil supplies, when your advanced scientific and technological manpower could have, long ago, ensured your energy independence. Only appropriate policy-decisions were missing! Since Presidential candidates are said to be most receptive to others before the vote, allow me the piece of advice which follows. Detach America from unbridled capitalism, ruled by unelected financiers and traders, (...) an absolute far cry from the solid, down-to-earth values of hard work, production, innovation on which America was built.

Above all give your country back its energy and transportation independence (...). Give it back its pride in being able to manufacture all what its population needs, instead of exposing your people to the consumption of such items as adulterated milk!

The rest of the world counts on a strong, independent and democratic USA. May your November 4th victory be for your country a new Independence Day!
