Train derailed in the northern city of Thessaloniki. </B>A Greek intercity train bound for Athens derailed near the northern city of Thessaloniki yesterday, catching fire and injuring some of the 140 passengers aboard, a regional fire brigade official told Reuters. “The train has been derailed. There is a small fire that should be put under control fairly soon and there are some injuries,” he said. Greece’s state-run railway company said in a statement: “The train, comprising four coaches, had 140 passengers. It derailed during entry at the train station of (the town of) Adendro.”
