The additional scholarship scheme: Targeting the needy
Earlier this week, 24 additional scholarship awards were made public. Since 2012, state scholarships have gone from 30 to 68, thanks to a budgetary measure voted in 2010. Around 60% of these additional scholarships target bright students from low-income families. However, there are strings attached to these scholarships.
