We knew all the time that

We would come to this fatal day?

But we prayed hard to KRISHNA and hoped!

Amidst your pain you made us laugh and you made us cry

That was the mark of the man you were ? Always Brave in adversity!

As the end of your life drew near

We did not know what to do or say!

We feared that each breath you breathed would be the last we hear!

But then KRISHNA saw you getting tired

When a cure was not to be

So HE wrapped his arms around you

And whispered "Come to ME"!

You did not deserve what you went through

So HE gave you rest!

When we saw you sleeping

So peaceful at last and free from pain

We could not wish you back to suffer again!

Now you are just a memory!

But you still echo within our thoughts

Our words, our hearts!

And what you did and what you were

Is a part of all that we are FOREVER!
