Excellent interview of Maître Herve Lassémillante,by Deepa Bhookhun, (Saturday 8th March) with regards to Mauritius sovereignty over the Chagos Archipelago and the Bancoult effect or non-effect.

It must be noted though,that Britain is this year sending Baroness Amos,as its representative, attending the 40th anniversary of Mauritius independence.

This lady is as you know .a member of the House of Lords. She has consistently denied and dismissed the claim of Mauritius sovereignty over the Chagos,during her many interventions in the House of Lords,over the matter.

I sincerely hope that you will be able to interview her and grill her about her attitude and that of her colleagues with regards to the Chagos.

If indeed Baroness Amos does grant an interview,she must not be allowed to downgrade the plight of the Chagossians,to merely an Indian dominated people (Mauritius illtreating 'Blacks'(Chagossians)Simply put,her 'divide and rule' game must not be allowed gain momentum.

Olivier Bancoult has always denigrated Mauritius and its people on British television.
