Reshape your body without tears
Lose weight and gain muscle without getting exhausted… This must be the dream of a lot of people. Nowadays people tend to work more, eat fast food (when they have time to eat) and do no exercise at all – except going up and down the stairs of their office if only the latter has two floors. This new way of living has led Spa Viva to rethink their centre; they now offer a new slimming technique coming straight from France.
“The passport for beauty today is not to be slim but really thin. Unfortunately, you will not get this here,” warns Corinne Thomas, the centre manager, right from the start. It is out of the question to lose too much weight within a too short period of time. “Lose weight, redefine one’s body, develop muscle again, YES, but this has to be done without harming the health – that is by losing 5 to 6 kg every month.”
Moreover, to convince clients that health is at the core of the centre’s preoccupations, it has called upon doctors and physiotherapists to support the programme. Doctors at the presentation of the techniques did not hesitate to ask a lot of questions and looked happy with the system.
The precise and valuable information given by Nicholas Ochin and Mr Minguet from Multiwell – the company, which has provided the centre with the machines – must have calmed their fears. As Corinne Thomas points out, “the Multiwell technique is the only slimming technique which is medically recognised in France.”
At first sight, the four machines look more like those used rather by doctors and specialists than by beauticians. In fact, the staff of Spa Viva have been trained by the professionals of Multiwell to deal with such machines. The treatment includes an “individual check-up, a personalised treatment and complementary techniques.”
The first part of the programme is aimed at getting to know the customer’s body and state of mind before he/she really starts the programme. Thanks to the Ohmniscan, the beauty specialists will calculate the weight, but also the level of water in the body as well as the fat and low density fat. The specialists will also want to know the customer’s motivations and will then be able to make a correct interpretation of the data given by the machine. The aim is to give a programme adapted to the individual needs of each customer.
The Multiwell concept has a ‘global’ approach, and the Effilyse computer programme provides personalised nutritional plans. The programme is adapted for each person according to his/her usual eating habits and the frequency with which he/she practises sports.
Thanks to its ultrasonic waves, which do not cause any discomfort, the Cellsonic helps to melt the most inlaid fats. Associated with a draining programme – with the Bioderm machine – this is the perfect ally against cellulite.
Finally, so as to fully redesign the body, the SP3 can be used to stimulate muscles. 30 minutes of electro-stimulation are said to correspond to 700 to 800 abdominal exercises… This is why this “treatment” also targets professional sportsmen.
This innovative concept will certainly have a lot of adepts… But should we remind ourselves that the most important thing is to remain healthy? Of course, such a method can be used as a “boost” but physical exercise and a balanced diet are definitely the best ways of staying in shape!
