Last Friday night, Le Bocage International School hosted a concert to raise funds for the Tsunami victims; the money collected will go towards the rebuilding of Hegalle Mahavidyalya School in Sri Lanka.

Students from Le Bocage and three other colleges, Lycée des Mascareignes, Lycée Labourdonnais and Loreto college of Quatre Bornes animated the evening with all sorts of entertainment: songs, dances and a fashion show. Bocage students designed all the outfits but the students as a whole were very enthusiastic about the project. The show was organised by the students of the four colleges, showing a real solidarity with the victims and between themselves. The two-hour long concert was attended by 600 people, a spectacular ending to the Tsunami Remembrance week, and raised about Rs 48,000. The cheque will be handed to the Round Table 3, after a charity walk, which will take place on 28th May, to be presented to the Sri Lankan Round Table.
