Spiritual leader on visit

His Holiness Bodhinatha Veylanswami, Spiritual head of Saiva Siddhanta Church, the Himalayan Academy and chief editor of the international magazine Hinduism Today, is coming to Mauritius on a one-week visit for the Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations at Ganesha Mandapam, the Spiritual Park, La Pointe, Rivière du Rempart. He is the initiated spiritual successor of late Gurudeva Sivaya Subramuniyaswami, founder of the Spiritual Park of Mauritius.

During his visit to the island, Bodhinatha Veylanswami will be meeting with members of the public at the Spiritual Park. Himalayan Academy workshops on the Saiva siddhanta teachings are being organised for young people and meetings will also be held with several local Hindu elders and those from Reunion island.

On Thursday 16th September, H.H Bodhinatha Veylanswami is giving a public talk on Hindu Unity at the Draupadee Ammen Kovil, Gladestone Road at Rose Hill at 17.45 hours.

The Spiritual Park of Mauritius is welcoming the Satguru on Sunday 19th September at 9.00 am at a grand public celebration of Ganesha Charturhi at the huge black granite Mahabalipuram carved murthi of Lord Pancha Mukha Ganapati. Bodhinatha will also address the public on a spiritual topic on that day. Before leaving Mauritius, His Holiness Bodhinatha Veylanswami is paying a courtesy visit to the president of the Republic, Sir Anerood Jugnauth at le Réduit on the 20th September.
