Grand-Gaube is not so far and la Trinquette not only offers “fusion cuisine” but also enchanting surroundings for a delightful evening. It’s really value for money,” says Jennifer Wong, the general manager of the three-star hotel.

From the most traditional Mauritian meals to the prestigious plates of grilled crayfish, the menu is simple but varied enough to give everyone a choice. You can count on the chef to serve mouth-watering dishes. The good smell of grilled seafood when you enter the restaurant is borne out by the quality of your meal.

And prices on the menu do indeed look affordable for Mauritians. “I mean if you wish to eat in a good restaurant, you won’t pay more to come here and benefit from the hotel facilities…”

The service perfectly corresponds to the restaurant’s image: discreet but efficient. Atish, the head waiter, is full of enthusiasm and always ready to help. Everything has been done to preserve the peace and serenity of the place. The atmosphere in the dining room is peaceful and intimate.
