The Gokhool Reform has turned into a purely ?political and communal? issue because, I see, that all those who had backed the Alliance sociale during the general elections are blindly backing the Gokhool reform, too.

How could a parent really come to know whether his ward has scored a ninety plus or ninety minus marks, as all the data base marks would be exclusively into the hands of MES of Mr Lucien Finette and the government.

The government has partitioned the colleges into three categories: the top nine colleges with top types of teachers and with only 1260 top class students. (b) The second class SSS colleges with medium types of teachers and students and (c) the rest third class of private colleges with lowest grades of teachers and less intelligent students. I, thus feel, that the government has intentionally created higher, medium and lower classes of teachers and students.

How could we expect so much from an innocent child. At the age of 11, did the PM or Mr Gokhool or any of all those who are relentlessly backing the reform, know that today, they would be occupying such high postion in this country ? As far as I know, till 1996, the PM though over the age of 50 years, was still studying. He was escaping parliamentary sessions in order to go to pursue his study in United Kingdom. So why, is he so keen in pestering the innocent youngsters of this country.

I remember, there was a time when only a few privileged children were pursuing highrer studies. That time is coming again. I was really astounded to hear the statements of Messrs Mario Flore and Haniff Peerun on this issue. It is clear that all those who are foolishly backing this reform are doing so with a view to be into the good notes of the PM and eventually waiting for their ?bouts?.

I am really sorry but these are my own personal views.
