DCDM officially becomes Charles Telfair
Charles Telfair is now part of the landscape of tertiary education. DCDM Business School has been officially awarded the “certificate of incorporation on change of name” and will as from now be known as the Charles Telfair Institute.
But the change of name is actually only a small part of the change that has been occurring at the private tertiary school over the past few months. Twelve companies out of the Top One Hundred local businesses have come together to build the school, which will cost Rs 520 million and be located in Moka. In the opinion of the director of the school, Eric Charoux, it will become the “third university in Mauritius”.
The whole project should be completed in five years when the “university” will be ready to accomodate some 5,000 students. However, the first students will be able to start their courses in two years.
