I travel by Air Mauritius quite regularly. I read in yesterday?s issue of l?express the article titled Air Mauritius embarque le high-tech. I am impressed by the capacity and willingness of our National Carrier to offer such high-tech entertainment on board. There was a real need for it.

Wow! I am so impressed. If the management can change the entertainment program AT LEAST every two months, then I can finally hope for a change in the menu also. I travelled the Mauritius ? Singapore ? Mauritius route very often and I had almost had the same food on the menu for the last two to three years.

If such a sophiscated entertainment system can be modified and changed at least every two months is it not possible to do the same with basic things like food? So I dare suggest that Mr Buton check the menu list on the above-mentioned route for the past two years and see if we can also have a change of menu a bit more frequently if not as often as the entertainment program.

Someone once said: ?If you want to get to a man?s heart, go through his stomach.? This was said in a different context but it as much applicable to customer appreciation and retention in a highly competitive aviation environment. I believe that Air Mauritius people are attentive to their customer's feed-back. I am almost sure that the menu will change on my next trip. So, I thank Mr Buton with a very warm heart. Oops! I almost said stomach. Sorry!
