<B>Pedestrian crossing under Colville Deverell Bridge</B>
Everyone who hears about the village of Mount Ory is impressed by its location, on one side we have the foot of the mountain and on the other, the well-known bridge ? Colville Deverell. I?ve just moved to that village and all my colleagues at work just keep asking how do I return home in the evening. Do I have to cross the highway at that peak time ? 4.30 p.m ? since I work in the city centre? Unfortunately, everyday I have to do so at the risk of my life, after alighting from the bus at Colville Deverell bus-stop.
One day, I noticed a pedestrian crossing under the highway and, since it was quite impossible to cross the highway due to high traffic, I decided to try the pedestrian crossing. To my great dismay, it was just like in a scary movie, where shifty persons are most welcome. And it looks more like a dumping place than a pedestrian crossing.
It seems that our PPS is not aware of this problem : the village of Mount Ory is not his priority or may be he is not well briefed by his inner circle. I?m making a request to the authorities concerned just to visit that place ? they would notice that I?m not overreacting ? and to find a solution to put an end to women?s agony.
