?Following the phone conversation I had this morning with the General Manager of NHDC, Mr. Ehsan Khodaboccus, I would be most grateful if the appropriate measures could be taken to ensure that waste water carriers are supplied to pump out waste water from the sewerage system of Résidences Dagotière (NHDC) at the earliest and on a regular daily or weekly basis so that residents do not have to suffer (they need to walk in water spoiled with fecal wastes during rainfall) while awaiting for the rehabilitation of the sewerage system of the complex (which is also uncomprehensively being delayed).

I know that this government has already budgeted for the financial means to carry out this type of emergency intervention and do hope you will be able to get things started as soon as possible.

I thank you for taking my appeal into consideration at a moment where Mauritius is presenting itself as "le pays le mieux géré au monde" to SIDS participants.?
