La section mauricienne d''''Amnesty International organise cette cérémonie pour tous les citoyens ayant participé aux formations «Human Rights Education» et «Advanced Human Rights and Leadership» en 2009.

Jean-Claude de l''Estrac, invité d''honneur pour cette occasion, remettra ainsi à plus de 125 citoyens leur certificat attestant leur réussite à ces formations.

La cérémonie aura lieu au Couvent Lorette de Rose Hill, le samedi 19 décembre de 10h à 11h. Cette cérémonie sera agrémentée d''intermèdes musicaux et sera suivie d''une journée portes ouvertes pour permettre aux citoyens désireux d''en connaître davantage sur Amnesty International, son rôle, sa vision, sa mission et ses moyens d''action, de venir rencontrer les militants d''Amnesty International, de poser leurs questions et bien sûr, de devenir membres.

De plus, au cours de cette journée, Jean-Yves Juban, conférencier invité provenant d''Amnesty France, traitera de la question du militantisme citoyen.
