● <B>YOUTH HOLIDAY PROGRAM. </B>The ministry of Youth and Sports, with the cooperation of non governmental organizations, has once again prepared its special program for students, ?Spécial Vacances?. This is aimed at youngsters from primary and secondary schools : camping on the beach, outings to the aquatic park of Belle-Mare and other similar activities are on the agenda. The organizers expect around 6,000 youngsters to attend.
● <B>WORKSHOP ON VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN. </B>The Ombudsperson for Children?s Office, the UNDP, members of the private sector and experts in the field are organizing a two-day workshop on ?violence against children? as from today at the University of Mauritius. The aim is to set up a project for an action plan that will be submitted to the proper authorities.
