NEW COURSES

Registration for the British Council?s new term of English courses will be held from 11th to 14th July in Rose Hill. Places are available on a number of courses, including IELTS preparation, Advanced Communication skills, Young learners and General English for all levels. Places are extremely limited so please come as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Registration will begin each day at 11:00 and close at 16:00.

Every month the KLC hosts a talk plus debate / discussion led by specialists from UK and this region who have current insights into areas of interest to Mauritians.

The next topic in the ?IN THE KNOW? series is ?Be Informed - Know your Rights? The talk will be given by Honourable Minister Rama Valayden on Thursday 5 July 2007.

This talk is aimed at raising awareness about the importance of knowledge and information about one?s rights. The minister will touch upon the dangers and imprudence of remaining in the ?dark?. We envisage this debate will provide a platform for thought-provoking discussion.
