All the confidence we had pinned in you has been shattered. We thought you would get rid of sycophants and parasites but you have surrounded yourself with those very people. Worse class, caste, creed are being nominated to what end?

I am proud to say that I have never sought any political favour but I have volunteered to put my experience in pedagogy, national unity, quality education and leadership to the service of my country. In vain, Navin, in vain!! Instead nominees who will not help in any way are worming their way and are being nominated as advisors. Tell them to reform our system of education, to stop strikes in school and to give something new to our youngsters.

We boast and hide ourselves behind clichés. Let us put an end to that rigmarole and farce. Let us face crude realities. People are either disgusted or they keep quiet or they simply leave the country. Dignity and self-esteem still weigh with us. I also told you once that something went wrong with SC and HSC results- hence the large number of protests. Did you ever enquire?

National unity is not built that easily. It demands guts, knowledge, tolerance? The electorate will never forgive you for their frustration and impoverishment. Meritocracy is trampled. You are perpetuating an old archaic system, favouring right and left. Still, you are a nice, charming man. You seem genuine but the charm is fading and waning Navin. Once you have a united opposition; just imagine the outcome.

Take this example: Sometime back somebody told me that a post in a private body was tailor-made for somebody- true it proved he was nominated adviser, senior adviser mind you. Worse at times people well favoured are given posts and poor people like us who have made sacrifices are ignored, bluntly discarded and dumped.

In all sectors, in all ministries unworthy recruits are spoiling the whole system. It is really a shame when we hear well-qualified youngsters complaining about our rotten system, about the number of barely qualified persons holding key posts that they do not deserve. When these so-called highly qualified persons hold meetings, their inability to express themselves correctly neither in French nor English, makes them the laughing stock of the gathering and the whole nation. We spend fortunes to have our kids sent abroad to study and in return what do we reap? Unemployment and frustration?

Do note the high rate of macabre crimes perpetuated and the state of law and order at its lowest ebb - a cause for concern. People still drive their cars holding their mobile phones in their right hand - motorcyclists still overtake on the left hand side - and filthy language is still used. People have become very touchy these days.

You had the majority Navin - you could have changed so many things but ? I am wasting my breath on words. I?ll give you the comment of a parent who proudly told me that : ?Si mo fine f... mo tifi, mo bisin kapav pei so fiz SC.? It speaks for itself.

We refuse to be called parasites and be at the beck and call of politicians and ministers. Mind you, ministers are not owners of this country. I wish I could have praised you to the heights of the skies not advising you upon what should be improved?
