?Not the government?
I refer to an article entitled Fabrication de tentes vacoas par des jeunes fermiers which appeared in page 8 of your issue of Tuesday 14th instant.
In the said article, last paragraph, it is mentioned that ?après des démarches auprès du gouvernement, la fédération réussit à obtenir une aide de L?Agro Action d?Allemagne pour se doter d?un quartier-général à Belle-Mare?. I would wish here to bring to the attention of your readers the following inexactitudes :
That it was through my personal friendship with Mr Bernd Dressman, the the CEO of Agro Action that the latter graciously accepted to provide the entire funds for the construction of the Belle-Mare Young Farmers Training Centre and not the head quarters of the federation. It is to be noted that at no time the government provided any funds for the construction of this centre. On the contrary the federation had to meet the full costs of the rental fee of the lands leased. So to say that ?après des démarches auprès du gouvernement, la fédération réussit à obtenir une aide de l?Agro Action d?Allemagne? is totally wrong and unfounded. If the current management of the federation do not have the necessary courage to acknowledge the truth, at least they should refrain from attempting to distort history. I challenge the present management and anyone else for that matter to prove me wrong on this issue.
