Their ages vary from 7 to 21. Even when they are grown up, many don’t want to retire from the choir. It’s so exciting to be one of the famous Poppy’s who go round the world singing popular hits. But they do so in their own melodious style. And the finishing touch is simply marvelous. Their répertoire is a good blend of modern pop songs and tunes of celebrities such as Johnny Hallyday, Francis Cabrel, Gilbert Bécaud and Claude Nougaro.

On tour in Mauritius, they are performing in different locations in the town as well as in the villages. The vice-President, Raouf Bundhun, graced the troup with his presence. The troup enjoys the sponsorship of the ministry of Social security – Mrs Sheila Bappoo attended the gala show – and that of many commercial firms.
