<B>Everyone can take part in the Spring Festival </B>

The Spring Festival will be celebrated by all Mauritians of Chinese origin and Chinese expatriates tomorrow. The great majority will be on holiday for a few days and many will celebrate the event in hotels with their families. But the festival will also be celebrated at national level. Several activities have been organized to mark the event . They will not only be held on the day of the Lunar New Year but will last until the end of the month.

The traditional ancestors? ceremonies will be held tomorrow at Kwan Tee Pagoda and Chung Shan Hall in Port-Louis. Then, the ministry of Arts and Culture, in collaboration with the Spring Festival Committee, is organising a cultural show at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture as from 8 pm.

On Saturday, 12th February, the traditional Dragon/Lion procession will take place in China Town together with a cultural show as from 3:30 pm.

This festive period will end with a cultural show at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture on 26th February at 8 pm.
