<B> British Airways changes its staff uniforms</B>
BA staff have been wearing their brand new uniforms for a few weeks now. The Julien MacDonald design is said to reflect the airline’s British heritage combining the qualities of a classic tailored suit with the style and creative flair of the world-class designer. He is well-known for having designed costumes for Kylie Minogue and Madonna. Vicky Lanza, BA country commercial manager, says, “This is indeed a trendy uniform and we are proud to have our staff wearing this symbol of the British Airways image. The new uniforms match perfectly the state-of-the-art services that we are offering our passengers on board.” Nearly 30,000 staff will wear the new uniform around the world.
<B> BAT Mauritius slightly restructured </B>
British American Tobacco Mauritius is experiencing a few changes. Naushad Ramoly, who used to be the Corporate and Regulatory Affairs manager, is being posted to Lebanon for two years. Although he will have the same position, he will be in charge of more markets which include Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen. He will be replaced by Vishwanee Lingachetti, the former HRmanager of BAT Mauritius. She will be in charge of BAT relations with its external partners. Today, 25% of BAT staff work as expatriates around the world.
