Amidst the café fumes

and the curious croissant,

I breathe the void

no romantic cry

but some unexpected

creativity- wreck

Adieu humanized fakeness

Hypocritical hammers

All gone!

Not a single streak smiles

They call themselves Poets

but silenced others

Mimicking the flamingo

but failing Gracefulness

Inspiration will be born and reborn

Imagination rise beyond hidden sunrise

Truth will sail, strive, survive

and I - the solitary poet in town

will walk the pen or contemporary keyboard

I ‘ ll embrace all beyond the Illusory - you

I will write, write and write.

Bio

She has been writing poems for more than 30 years and she is the author of numerous poetry books. She is also basically into abstract art from 2019 but always open to experiment with various styles of painting. She considers writing as her first love and Visual Art as her healer in all circumstances of life. She is a literary translator and currently lives at Rose-Hill.
