to trendy FIFA World Cup 2026
Kushal supporter of France,
Germany and England,
sketches Messi in his unique
surrealist way
Vandana, a die-hard
of French language in refinement
sings “Allez les Bleus”
I, being overexposed to French from
childhood
have always let myself be mesmerized by
some different West-compass
The moves of Maradona,
and now, here, goes Messi,
the King of goals - bliss -
Argentina again shining on some
noticeable football map
Who will win the Final Golden Gloss?
We don’t know yet
Suspense
Anxiety
Joy
Tears
hook
In our hearts waltzing football
Amidst our verses’ midnight oil,
For 3 friends -
Poets smiling different seasons -
the sports-thread strengthens
Some cheer-depth
in between the hectic grey-black
of our immortal letters.
