Élodie, nou tou ansam avek twa : As one people, as one nation – a message of hope and solidarity
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.
Across our island, hearts unite,
Holding on to hope and light,
Beyond religion, beyond ethnic ties,
One nation's hope beneath these skies.
We stand as one in your hour of need,
Élodie, may you find the strength to heal.
A thousand prayers, a nation's plea,
May hope restore your strength and energy.
You are a mother, so young, so dear,
With a little one longing to have you near,
A tiny hand, a loving embrace,
Longing to feel your warmth, your face.
May the doctors who come from afar
Bring healing and hope, like a guiding star,
May strength return with each new day,
And lead you gently on your way.
For you are more than news we read,
You are a life, a hope, a dream.
And in this moment, we stand as one,
Praying your story is far from done.
Enn sel lepep, enn sel nasion,
Ansam dan lespwar ek konpasion.
Élodie, nou tou ansam avek twa,
Nou leker, nou lapriyer, avek twa.
Ki nou relizion, nou kouler, nou orizinn,
Nou swet twa kouraz ek gerizon.
To zanfan bizin twa, Élodie,
Ki lavi redonn twa enn nouvo sourir.
