● Sithanen flies for international conference. Rama Sithanen, minister of Finance, will take part in the conference of ministers of Finance and Trade in Tanzania on 1st and 2nd October. He will intervene mainly on the Mauritian experience in opening up its economy and the country?s vision on the Aid for Trade Initiative.
● Helping taxpayers. The Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) helps the public fill in income tax forms. From 26th to 28th, six cash offices will open between 9 am and 2.30 pm (and until 6 pm on 27th and 28th). Two hot lines are available ? 207 6010 and 207 6020. The deadline of the 30th September has been extended by one week.
