● Congress ? The youth wing of the Mauritian Militant Movement (MMM) is organising its congress on Sunday 12th August. The younger generation of the opposition party hopes to have discussions and debates with other young people on issues like education, leisure and the environment, etc. The congress will also have a cultural part with musical groups like Evolozik or the Bhojpuri Boys performing.

● ICT fair ? Infotech is opening on Wednesday 8th August. This year?s theme of the fair is ?Innovative technologies for an emerging Africa?. 54 exhibitors are expected to have a stand there. The traditional Job Space will of course be part of the fair as well as a number of conferences. An Initiative Award will also reward the most creative local companies in the ICT field.
