Committee on diabetes ? Foreign professors and doctors will be in Mauritius from 2nd to 6th August for the International Advisory Committee (IAC) of the National Service Framework for Diabetes (NSFD). The meeting will help take stock of the situation as well as mobilise funds and international support for the fight against diabetes during a four-day workshop at Domaine les Pailles. The professors and doctors would also help update our medical and paramedical staff in the latest trends in the treatment of diabetes.
Festival de Cannes? à sucre. L?Aventure du Sucre in Beau-Plan is organizing the third edition of its Festival de Cannes à sucre from Friday to Sunday. 15 stands will illustrate the world of sugar, from cane-cutting to tasting. This year?s theme is: the fairy-tale world of sugar and childhood.
