Upside down, White has turned black And black has been whitened Clouds are bluish green And the ocean Is black, Our colours of life Have blemished, Our roses have faded In untimely life?s deceptions.

Upside down, Lies and truths Have made a thick dough Ready To be baked In our mouths Where the mighty tongue Will paint lies In colours Of livid truths.

Upside down Right is wrong, Wrongly right Killing is justice Justice is killing We hate love And love hatred Upside down,

Values have overturned It is a living death In a deadly life We laugh to tears Which shred our laughter to tears.

Upside down Nothing is at its place The centre has moved To the periphery There is ordered disorder Our conscience is roaming In despair In desperate alleys Of life Our bodies look like corpses And corpses Seem to have come back to life

Upside down Is not a mere somersault Of the imagination Or a nasty vision; It is an answer Turned into a question A question that conceals the answer. Where are reasons To celebrate When one mourning Leads to another.
