Targeting more courtesy
Lest it is embraced by the love and warmth of the family living therein,
A house is but a dead structure of cement and brick.
Yet if we do not respect each other, and bring the rudiments of courtesy into this house,
It never will be transformed into a home.
Do !
Bid good day and good evening to each other.
Offer help to a family member engaged in a task.
Compliment and thank the ‘cook’.
Inform about one’s whereabouts and time one expects to be back home.
Be punctual and inform about any anticipated delays.
Don’t !
Disturb family members during their rest.
Open occupied rooms without knocking.
Start eating or leave the table before other family members without excusing yourself beforehand.
Yield to irritation and vulgar behaviour.
Change the TV or radio channel without prior approval of those using them.
