Ten months after the submission of its EIA report, the Gamma Energy Ltd project of a waste-to-energy plant is still being contested by inhabitants in the vicinity of the potential La Chaumière site. If Kemraz Orthoo, mentioned in the article published in late Monday?s issue, is among those who are opposed to the project, it is Roshan Gungaram who is the actual councillor at Gros-Cailloux Village Council. Kemraz Orthoo is from the local Forces Vives. The village council has not yet decided of its stand after the EIA report approval. A committee is scheduled very shortly.
