Pupils show off their artistic skills
Getting ready for the semi-finals. Pupils taking part in the Power in the Voice (PIV) competition made the most of the beach festival held Sunday,29th of July, at Flic-en-Flac public beach. After Tamarin a week before, the second edition of the beach festival gave the opportunity to pupils and their mentors ? the artists ? to show the results of their work during the past few months to teachers, parents and the public at large. Considered as a dynamic way of promoting the English language among pupils, the PIV also aims to provide a means of expression for these young students. The semi-finals for this slam/rap/poetry competition organised by the British Council will be held on 29th of September.
