Public Private Sectors meet
Government leaders will meet industry bosses next Saturday to seek consensus on how best to give an impetus to the economy. It is likely that private-sector investment and job creation will be the main issues that will be discussed. Though latest estimates for gross domestic product growth are optimistic, there has been no upswing in investment rate for some years now. Statistics may not be the only item on the agenda as the two sides have quite opposite views on the current situation. Polls reval a lack of confidence within the private sector.
