Le coursier de l?écurie Luc André Gallet, On My Oath, a été rétiré des entrées hier à la suite d?un rapport du chef chimiste du Mauritius Turf Club, Bertrand Baudot. L?analyse d?un échantillon d?urine pre-race prise du cheval a révélé la présence d?une forte concentration de testosterone, un produit prohibé, dans son organisme.

Un communiqué du MTC fait état que ?Testosterone was present at a concentration exceeding the international threshold in a pre-race urine sample taken from horse On My Oath whilst the horse was under strict surveillance??

Une enquête sera ouverte samedi à 11 heures pour faire la lumière sur cette affaire.

COMMUNIQUE

Following a report from the Analyst of the MTC to the effect that Testosterone was present at a concentration exceeding the international threshold in a pre-race urine sample taken from horse On My Oath whilst that horse was under strict surveillance, the Racing Stewards have ordered the said horse to be withdrawn from the entries of the meeting of 29 July 2006.

An inquiry will be held into the matter at a date to be fixed.
