The press interview of Fareed Jangheerkhan in Week-End dated 14th January, 2007 compels me to make some comments regarding certain statements Mr Jangheerkhan made to justify his « good » performance since his nomination by the PM as Chairman. Jangheerkhan made it clear of his political « partisanerie » as to his support to the Labour party. Nobody is denying him his right to be more « red » than the labour party and his boss. But he should remember that we are paying him for his maintenance and should not expect us to tolerate his arrogance.

Even Bijaye Madhou, the Director of the MBC has the same attitude of Jangheerkhan when Madhou deliberately said in an interview in L?Express few weeks ago that « If someone is not satisfied with our programme he can switch off his TV ».

Let me dedicate an anecdote to both Jangheerkhan and Madhou. There was once a monkey which constantly kept watching his King. There was this fly which kept coming on the face of his King. The monkey kept chasing the fly off his King?s face once, twice and thrice. The fly kept coming on the king?s face again and again. The monkey kept ventilating his king?s face, causing the fly to go away. Again the fly kept coming on the face of the king. The monkey decided this time to kill the fly once and for all. So, as monkeys have little brains, that monkey took a stone and aimed it on the fly which was on the king?s face. The stone caused real damage to the face of his king, missing the fly. The monkey was shot dead by the king?s soldiers for its « devotion ». This is the end of the anecdote.

Those who think such story applies to them, should always remember that bootlickers and poodles have short lives.
