Hundreds of survivors of the Nazi Holocaust marched to Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert?s office during the weekend to protest against the government?s offer of an extra monthly stipend of $20 (around Rs 640), which they say is an insult. Some protesters wore yellow Stars of David like those Jews were forced to wear by the Nazis. Some held up placards that read ?sorry for surviving?. The proposed addition to aid and reparations already received by many Holocaust survivors has been rejected by the groups that represent them as an insult to the memory of the six million Jews killed by the Nazis during World War Two.
