<B>Transport problem at Nouvelle-France</B>

Actually passengers of Nouvelle-France who work in Port-Louis have to come to Curepipe and then take take l?express to Port-Louis. This is very tiring specially for ladies like us.

With the traffic jam, we arrive everyday late at work. We have to leave our place at 7.00 a.m to reach Port-Louis at around 9.00 a.m and in the afternoon we arrive home at 6.00 p.m or later.

We are making a request to help us. Actually United Bus Service (UBS) has a depot at 16eme Mille and in the morning the buses leave 16ème Mille and proceed to Mahebourg via Nouvelle-France to pick passengers of the south. We are deprived of such facilities. We are proposing that the UBS line proceeds as follows:

In the morning as from 7.00 a.m buses leave 16ème Mile ? via Nouvelle-France round-about Nouvelle-France-La Vigie-Highlands-Camp Fouqureaux-Phoenix-New Road-Port-Louis, Victoria station. Believe me there are lot of opportunities along this line. In the afternoon some arrangements can be made from Port-Louis via Nouvelle-France-Forest-Side-Curepipe.

This line will greatly help us and relieve our difficulties.

We are making an appeal UBS, the National Transport Authority (NTA), the Ministry of Public Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministers of the Constituency no 11 to kindly help us.
