Fall in the price of SAFE cable ? Open questions

The fall in the price of the IPLC on SAFE cable has been announced long time ago.

As an operator of the ICT sector, we are still waiting for the fall to materialise, since we have based our future plans on this fall of the price.

We have contacted Mauritius Telecom to inquire when the new price will be effective.

Mauritius Telecom has mentioned that they are waiting for the approval of the ICTA.

We have copied to the ICTA as well but the latter has remained silent.

Since we have no answer as to why the price of the IPLC on SAFE cable is not decreased up to now, though announced by the Minister, should we assume it is because the PMO has given instruction to freeze all ICT related board meetings as announced in the press? If yes, when will PMO allow the ICTA to hold its meeting to approve the decrease in price?

Is there any other reason why the decrease has not been approved by the ICTA, which the latter cannot communicate?

If yes when does the ICTA think that it can take the decision to approve the decrease in the price of SAFE cable?
